Onze dienst is ook actief op wetenschappelijk gebied. De artsen zijn aangesloten bij verschillende professionele en wetenschappelijke vereningingen.

Door het uitvoeren van wetenschappelijk onderzoek probeert de dienst de resultaten van de verschillende ingrepen nog beter te maken.

  • Evaluation of a robotic assisted total knee arthroplasty procedure combined with a flexion first, patella in place balancer.
  • Validation of the Ghent TKA prediction model.
  • 10 year follow-up of the THA.hy.ti Hip Prosthesis
  • Validation of the PROMIS questionnaire
  • Patient reported outcome of rehabilitation and quality of life in computer literate patients undergoing primary knee or hip arthroplasty and randomized to rehabilitation with or without the possible use of a mobile application
